How do you get access password/code for Coatings Radar App?
Users will get a unique code
Can the unique code be shared?
No. The unique code can not be shared and ‘unique’ to the allocated user
Will there be separate unique codes for phone and tablet?
Upon completion of the course, users will receive a single access code which could be used on a tablet and a phone.
Can I use the Coatings Radar app offline?
Yes, the app can be used offline with no signal or data. You must log in to the app whilst using WIFI or mobile date, then once the device is offline, a pop-up message will show on the screen advising internet unavailable and to go to your settings. When this message appears, just simply swipe the message down the screen and you will be able to continue using the app offline.
Can the Coatings Radar App be used in dark mode?
Yes. Go to setting on you phone or tablet to adjust the settings.
How do you get access to the Coatings Radar App?
To get access to the app you will need to complete the Coating Surveys Level 2 course through the Corrodere Academy. Alternately, you can purchase a company package with multiple licences, or there is also a bespoke app for corporate businesses which will offer customisation to the app along with unlimited licences.
Can I share my unique login details with people?
No, the unique login details cannot be shared and is unique to the allocated user.
Will the Coatings Radar App be upgraded or revised in the future?
The Coatings Radar App will be updated on a regular basis and the user will receive notifications to update the software.
Will there be separate unique login for phone and tablet?
Users will receive a single access login which can be used on a tablet, phone or MacBook.
Is Fitz’s Atlas of Coating Surveys included on the Coatings Radar App?
Yes, the Fitz’s Atlas of Coating Surveys is contained within the Manuals and Standards section.
Can International Standards be downloaded via the Coatings Radar App?
No. The Coatings Radar App does not contain the specific International Standards but offers an overview as part of training and education.
Can you set favourite pages on the Coatings Radar App?
Yes. Simply go the section you want to keep as a favourite and select the heart in the top right corner (from blank to blue). De-select as necessary.
What version of software do I need on my iPhone and iPad?
Coatings Radar requires as minimum iOS 17 or iPadOS 17
